So Australia Post doesn’t have my package; it seems like it definitely left their hands last Friday. When I rang FedEx again and told them this, they were pretty adamant that it didn’t end up back at them; they think Australia Post has shipped it back to the U.S.
Now, I know I’m not studying business, but it does seems somewhat unwise, in a profiteering sense, to incur the cost of international shipping to return a package – sent via a completely different company – especially given it was known that the intended recipient did exist – at least, I presume I still do – and was actively trying to catch the damn thing.
So who knows. Maybe my off-hand comment about it now being in Honolulu was strikingly accurate.
