Tonight dad cooked a kangaroo roast. I’ve never had kangaroo before, that I know of… I was a little hesitant to try it, given the alternative was chicken skewers – always a favourite :) – but I figured what the hey. I actually quite liked it – which actually says a bit coming from me, given I’m not a fan of red meat in general. It was quite tasty, and although it was perhaps slightly tough (keep in my my frame of popular reference is chicken) it wasn’t nearly as so as people have told me. And, as dad noted, it’s so much cheaper than cow or lamb meat. So, in my mind, why not? :)
