Crissy Field, looking east

This used to be the airfield, and was all asphalt. Yuck. It was dug up and is now grassed over, although it's a long way from it's original state as an area of sand dunes and scrub. It seems very barren; you can drive along it on one side, walk along it on the other, and that's about it. There were two kids flying a kite at one point, but otherwise, nada.
