I was even more surprised to see that there’s actually a predesigned interface within Apple Maps, on iOS, for notifying reporters that the issue they reported has been fixed.  First on the lock screen:

And then when you open Maps via that notification:

If you’re curious, in this case there is no such California State Park as “Cascade Ranch” – the area in question is part of Año Nuevo State Park.

Of course, Maps hasn’t entirely stopped being stupid, such as these awesome directions on how to get from where I was to where I was:
